WLC 71st Founding Anniversary #WeAreOne@71♥

Western Leyte College Inc. celebrated its 71^st founding anniversary last February 29- March 5, 2016. There were lots of activities that happened. The theme of this event is "#WeAreOne@71♥". Yes,it is indeed because the different departments became united by joining the different activities.

The first day of  March 2016. WLC had their opening. It started with a parade. But before the ceremony started, Mr. Fiel (WLC President) give a short speech to officially open the celebration. The candidates for the search for Miss WLC 2016 had their production number. They danced the Hawaiian dance.

As part of being one of the official candidates, we have visited some of our sponsors. These are some of the activities we've done.

On February 29,2016, we attended the holy mass and followed by a dinner with the school's faculty and staffs.

On the third day of the celebration, the Literary and Musical contest were conducted. The students who participated showcased their talents and ability very well.

On the fourth day, we had our technical rehearsals. It went fine but I can't deny the fact that it was really tiring because we finished it late at night. Its exactly 12 midnight.


March 4,2016 is the most awaited day the Search for Miss WLC 2016. That night was fun, we had our special guest Mr. Jason Abalos. We only had four exposures which was the introduction number, funwear, Q and A portion, and evening gown. Then after the parade of evening gown is the announcement of top 5. The top 5 were Ms. Charo Dayandayan, Madel Senoran, Chanel Chua, Paula Alexandra Bragas, and lastly Glicelyn Piloton.


All of us candidates did great, but as what people said there will only be one who will standout and bring home the crown, and it was Ms. Paula Alexander Bragas from the college of Business. The first runner-up is Ms. Chanel Chua from the college of Accountancy, 2nd runner-up is Ms. Charo Dayandayan from college of Education, 3rd runner-up is Ms. Madel Senoran from college of Accountancy, 4th is Ms. Glicelyn Piloton from CONAHS.

 I was really nervous that night ,but at some point I feel excited and amazing because I had never thought I would reach this one of a kind experience. At a very young age, I've been able to join such a prestigious pageant in town. To think I'm not from here. Although I didn't able to get the crown,I'm still happy because I've learn a lot from this experience. I've also got new friends. #Treasure♥♥

CICTE Days♥

                                    CICTE DAYS 2016

 CICTE days were really fun. There were lots of activities and games like basketball, volleyball, and computer games like Dota and Counterstrike.The theme of this years CICTE Days is "IT: Improving  Life One click at a time".

Litmus 

 LITMUS is a literary or musical event which is classified into different types; Oration, Declamation, Extemporaneous, Essay, Vocal solo, Duet, Lip sync and Hip hop.  It was hosted by Alexis Dhea Tecson, Marjorie Padilla and John Mark Villegas. All from  Dynamic  Organization In.

       Extemporaneous Speech had its three excellent contestants namely Leah Fuerza (ACES) who won 1st place,

                                 Jonas  Bitor(ACSS) 2nd place and .Jake Apuya(DOICE) as 3rd place winner.

Basketball Champs

Basketball  and Volleyball Sports were also one of the games in CICTE days. The three organization who will be competing were scheduled to their designated occasions. The DOICE  was the champion of the basketball game in which Francishope Rivera was the one who made the DOICE won have their competition game because of his deadly 3point shots. While in the Volleyball game ACSS was the Champion ,they made their way to the top because of their unbeatable spikes.

Lip sync competition wherein each organization had participated, where Kenneth Ursabia of DOICE  had won the competition because of his very entertaining performance of CHANDELIER dance by Sia

 

The one of a kind experience I have had. Spending it with them is always worth remembering.  #CICTE Days♥♥♥

        This week is very stressful for us. Loads of projects, exams and quizzes were given to us. Pero okay ra kay madala pa man ug smile. Me and my friends were having a hard time to find enough time to do our leisure. Maayo gani kay medyo chill-chill ra sad ni sila duha. Although we can't deny the fact nga naglisod gyud mi sa amo nga major subjects. Examination week is indeed a hell-week according to madam Mayette; because we sleep very late at night just to study, pass our projects on time and be ready for the surprise quizzes. Pero mao man jud na ang angay nga buhaton as a college student diba? So, kakayanin para sa Future. Pero sige lang kunting tiis nalang guys hapit na sad bitaw Christmas vacation. That means hapit nasad amo Christmas party. Excited nasad ta ani sa pasko guys. #GIFTS ☺

Happy Birthday( Daffon &Albarico ) :)

Celebrating their Birthdays.

A birthday is an occasion when a person celebrates the day that he/she born. 

Last December 8, 2015. We celebrated the birthdays of Maricon Francis Daffon and Jamaica Hans Albarico. That day was the day that my beautiful best friend Maricon turns 18 years old while Jamaica turns 17. Their birthday was a total blast. It was very simple but it was also fun because all of friends were gathered at the backyard of our boarding house. We talk and laugh about random things. The day has ended with so much glee and joy because, it was called a day well spent. Dugay sad mi na tima ug party-party kai daghan gyud kaayo mi ug mga trip nga na huna-hunaan. Bisag simple ra kaayo amo gihimo para sa ilaha, kahibaw mi nga nalipay gyud sila duha . And we knew nga bisag unsa pa na amo ihatag para sa ilaha , ang amo efforts kay dili gyud masayang. Love love guys.♥♥

   This photo was taken last December 6,2015. Time flies so fast that we sometimes forgot what day it is. We do things that are fun and enjoyable with our friends. But, having these gorgeous ladies to be with- is something that I never thought would happen. Making friends with them is really a nice thing because they were all good people. All I thought that joining the search for Ms. CICTE 2016 will give me a hard time to find friends because I felt really intimidated by the time I got to know my co-candidates. Pero okay ra kay mga kalog  man sad diay ni sila parehas nako. Hahaha hey ladies, gikulbaan gyud ko.♥
